A few years ago, a score of 620 or higher was good enough. That increased to 680 in early 2008. Then it jumped to 720 in April last year and 740 in August.
In the past, any score of 700 or higher would get a double thumbs-up from credit experts. Now, rate adjustments begin kicking in at 740, with every 20-point drop adding another adjustment.
What used to be a great score, is now only a good score.

IN 1998 I WAS FALSELY ACCUSED AND WAS HIT WITH A $450,000 LAW SUIT. AFTER TRYING TO FIGHT IT AND $30,000 IN ATTORNEY FEES TO NO AVAIL, I FILED BANKRUPTCY IN 2000. IT IS STILL ON MY CREDIT RECORD. HOW CAN THIS BE REMOVED? I WOULD LIKE TO REFINANCE MY HOME MORTGAGE AT A BETTER RATE NOW. THANK YOU.

I really would like to buy a home for me and my wife and our 3 boys. Im 33 and been working the same job since April of 2004. My credit is not good enough to get a loan for a home but i do have a 2004 Harley Davidson worth about 12,000 i could use that as credit for a house. I can make the payments on a home loan up to 600 a month. I just wish and hope i can find someone that will help me and my family. All of my debt is due to hospital bills.. I really would like to stop renting and put my money towards a home for me and my family. If you could please help me!!!! Thank you.
maybe for an A+ loan, but this is not require for all loans. Do not mislead your customers.
